The majority of today’s legislative priorities are focused on reducing packaging’s environmental impact by promoting increased circularity. But, as states pass legislation independent of one another, we risk creating a disparate system where sustainability goals and objectives compete against one another.
Advocating for harmonized and evidence-based legislation is needed.

What’s A Packaging Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO)?
Sustainability Central – West Hall, W-21020
We appreciate your visit to AMERIPEN at PACK Expo International 2024. You may recognize our association for our focus on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and its influence on the future of our industry, but AMERIPEN also works strategically at a higher level to shape U.S. public policy relating to the packaging industry. Our advocacy covers the entire packaging value chain, representing material producers, brand owners, and recycling partners. We actively engage with state and federal legislators and collaborate with key stakeholders to promote the packaging industry's public policy goals.
Catch us all week at Booth N-4539 in the Association Partner Pavilion!
Don’t forget to drop by the AMERIPEN kiosk in Sustainability Central to learn what key policies are in store for 2025.
