who we are

The American Institute for Packaging and the Environment is an industry and trade organization with an economic interest in packaging and packaged products. It presents the opinion of the packaging value chain on topics related to packaging and the environment.

The Institute will strive to promote science-based decision making in order to advocate for a future where all production, distribution, and consumption are sustainable.

The Institute encourages members of other industry organizations to continue their support of those associations as they provide critical functions of research, study, education, and shaping the packaging discussion.
